Week of September 14

We have another long weekend ahead of us!  Can you believe we are just 3 weeks away from Fall Break?!

I hope you are studying your multiplication facts every night.  We will have a pre-test on September 21.  If you recieve a 100% on the pre-test you won't have to take the test after Fall Break!

THE QUESTION!!!

What are two different ways that you can work out multiplication problems?  We learned these two ways this week :)

    You can draw a picture or you can count the number that many times (3 x 4 or 3 + 3 + 3 + 3)

    You can put the numbers in groups. Or if you have 8 x 4 you can do 8 + 8 + 8 + 8

You can either draw circles or add the numbers ( 12 x 12 you would add 12 12 times)
