Week of September 21

It is VERY important that you write on the blog on your own.  I cannot remind you every week.  It is your responsibility!!

I am soooo proud how well you all did on with multiplication last week!  I hope you a practicing your flash cards every night!!!

**You are given 30 pieces of candy for Halloween.  You got in trouble at home so your parents are making you give your candy to your 5 brothers and sisters.  How many pieces of candy will each brother and sister get?**

Week of September 14

We have another long weekend ahead of us!  Can you believe we are just 3 weeks away from Fall Break?!

I hope you are studying your multiplication facts every night.  We will have a pre-test on September 21.  If you recieve a 100% on the pre-test you won't have to take the test after Fall Break!

THE QUESTION!!!

What are two different ways that you can work out multiplication problems?  We learned these two ways this week :)

Week of September 4

I see a lot of you don't like working in your Math journals.  I will try my best to make it a little more exciting.  I think it's important that you do word problems because you will see a lot of them on the K-PREP in May!

When adding numbers together what is one way to be sure that you got the correct answer? You may THINK you got the correct answer when you added but how can you be 100% positive that you are right?
